Bed & Breakfast Hosts Jonathan and Lindsey Barran

Rotorua Photographer Jonathan Barran

jonathan-barran-photographerHost page Jonathan is a professional photographer with 40 years’ experience specialising in environmental and commercial photography and in-between assignments he helps Lindsey with the bed and breakfast. He would be delighted to give you information on good photographic locations in Rotorua and throughout NZ.  Examples of his work are displayed throughout the homestead.

Displayed in the gallery leading to the guest quarters is some of his most recent work with Project Crimson, a national organisation set up to protect the Pohutukawa tree. The Pohutukawa tree is seen mostly around the coast of the North Island and has bright red flowers that come out around Christmas, hence it is also known as the NZ Christmas Tree.
