The new guest experience
If we can, we like to inform our guests that if they arrive in Rotorua late afternoon or early evening then it is advisable to have a meal or bring food home. We have a fully stocked kitchenette and it is lovely to sit outside and view the sunset.
124onbrunswick bed and breakfast
Is a home hosted accommodation, similar to Airbnb but you won’t be asked to locate a key and hope it works. We will greet you, show you around, give you as much or as little help as you would like. You will be told who else is staying in house and you will know where we will be if you need help. There will only be good surprises
We are 20 minutes drive from the city center and and over half of Rotorua’s experiences are within ½ hour's drive. You need a car as there is no public transport although it is possible to bike to the forest from us.
Covid 19 level 19
Covid-19: The pandemic has had a significant impact on travel. We will be reopening at the beginning of September in the most hygienic conditions possible.
Our 3 guest rooms all have French doors leading out to an outdoor private seating area and these French doors give you access to your car. You don’t need to use the main front door after you have first arrived.
Your expectation when staying in a home hosted bed and breakfast is to have a cooked breakfast in the morning. This still is the case and served in the breakfast room.
If you wish to eat alone then a continental breakfast tray will be brought to your room.
The kitchenette supplies all crockery and cutlery, tea, coffee etc.
There is a table in the common room and a table and chairs out on the verandah.
We agree: You’ve got the X-Factor
